Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. Assists in health and safety incident response as needed
- Manage large volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Maintain professionalism and composure under stressful conditions.
- Identify customer needs and be able to ask clarifying questions.
- Upsell value added products when applicable to customers.
- Build sustainable relationships with customers, both internal and external.
- Provide sales support to customers.
- Receive orders and schedule them properly.
- Give pricing for COD customers.
- Record customer orders accurately into Command Data system.
- Guide and recommend products for specific applications.
- Work very closely with other team members to ensure customer commitments can be achieved.
- Record all changes requested by customers accurately and promptly in Command and advise the dispatcher of such changes as soon as they have been recorded.
- Responsible for order accuracy through attention to detail & timely correction to errors.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong phone skills -- verbal and active listening.
- Problem solving and analysis skills.
- Team work:
Supportive, collaborative and cooperative. - Detail oriented with strong data entry skills.
- Customer focus and adaptability to the caller. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external clients. Maintain a professional and calm attitude under stressful situations.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work in a high stress and fast paced environment.
- Ability to learn quickly in a highly fluid environment.
- Willingness to Learn business specific computer programs.
- Willingness to learn our products, their applications and our customers' habits.
- Basic knowledge of concrete and the construction industry.
- Industry knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency with computers, including Google GSuite and MS Office.
- Spanish speaking or bilingual is a plus
