Accounts Payable

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented accounts payable professional to support daily financial operations. The accounts payable role is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate accounts payable records. This position plays a critical role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall accounting function.

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Perform accounts payable data entry including invoice coding and expense allocation

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation

• Prepare and process accounts payable payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers

• Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve discrepancies

• Respond to vendor inquiries related to accounts payable and payment status

• Maintain organized accounts payable files and supporting documentation

• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable

• Ensure accounts payable compliance with company policies and internal controls

• Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices

• High attention to detail and accuracy in accounts payable data entry

• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced accounts payable environment

• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with high-volume accounts payable processing

• Familiarity with ERP or automated accounts payable systems

• Strong communication skills for vendor and internal accounts payable inquiries
