Nurse Practitioner

Attention all Nurse Practitioners! We invite you to partner with us as independent contractors, providing services to our Military Service members.

Our work primarily occurs on weekends, with occasional weekdays, under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in the State of _________, on an "as needed" basis.

We deliver health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements necessary to maintain a deployable military force for the following branches:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to identify current and past medical concerns.
• Address urgent concerns, including behavioral health issues.
• Document interview findings in the proprietary system for readiness classification.

Requirements:

• Supervising Physician may be required depending on state regulations.
• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Preferred:
  Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health.
• Preferred:
  Experience with mobile medical services.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with high volumes of service members.
• Ability to work extended hours and in various locations, including remote military installations.
• Weekend availability and willingness to travel are preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

  Diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing medications are not required.
