Plasma Center Nurse – LPN

Plasma Center Nurse – LPN position at Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Manage donor adverse events and monitor donor reactions following SOPs.
• Evaluate laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance.
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator with EHS for investigations of pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• Current LPN (or LVN) license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• At least 2 years in a clinical or hospital setting.

U.S. hourly wage range: $23.85 – $32.79.
