Position Summary:The Digital Workplace (DWP) Enterprise Architect (EA) plays a strategic role in shaping and evolving the enterprise digital workplace by deeply understanding the relationships between people, processes, platforms, and intelligent technologies. This role is responsible for defining and governing current and future‑state architectures that align with enterprise strategy, with a strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI Agents and Agentic AI patterns, Microsoft Power Platform, M365, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams Rooms, endpoint management and workforce mobility solutions.
The Digital Workplace EA partners closely with business and IT leadership to drive a modern, intelligent, and secure digital workplace ecosystem. This includes advancing AI‑powered collaboration, autonomous and semi‑autonomous agent capabilities, meeting room and hybrid collaboration experiences, and mobile‑first productivity across the enterprise. The role ensures architecture decisions clearly articulate business value, risk, and strategic outcomes, while enabling innovation at scale.
The EA will lead the creation of Digital Workplace strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures that incorporate AI‑driven user experiences, intelligent automation, and modern collaboration and mobility platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and technology standards. The role also facilitates design sessions and architecture reviews to define a clear future vision and architecture runway for the Digital Workplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads the development and implementation of enterprise architecture standards and guidelines. Participates in and leads architecture reviews and ensures architecture adherence.
- Collaborates with executive management to influence and shape strategic initiatives. Defines and drives the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap. Leads the identification of disruptive forces and investment guidance. Conducts trend analysis and provides strategic direction.
- Provides a framework for architectural decision‑making, including assessment of technology options. Assesses and mitigates risks associated with enterprise architecture decisions. Leads resolution of complex architectural challenges and conflicts. Oversees innovation tracking and management.
- Monitors industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for architectural innovation. Guides the analysis of business and operating models. Takes charge of constructing future‑state business models. Drives analysis of future‑state capabilities and organizational requirements.
- Integrates emerging technologies effectively. Develops and manages implementation plans for the portfolio.
- Guides and mentors other architects and teams on enterprise architecture principles and practices. Leads collaboration with business architects and leaders. Ensures alignment and coordination of architecture activities. Presents comprehensive IT investment roadmaps and gap analyses.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience required.
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant IT experience, or relevant techno‑functional experience, including five (5) or more years of relevant architecture experience required.
- One (1) to two (2) years experience using DWP and AI‑enabled solutions, integrating user experience, data‑driven insights, and business objectives required.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft ecosystem, including Intune, Entra , Copilot, Power Platform, Collaboration preferred.
- Familiarity with Architecture Frameworks, Governance, and Principles highly preferred.
- Analytical Thinking – Strong problem‑solving skills to identify architectural challenges, analyze requirements, evaluate options, and propose effective solutions.
