** Supply Trading Specialist – Aromatics
** is a key commercial role within the Natural Gas / NGL / Petrochemicals Value Chain, reporting to the Supply Trading Manager – Aromatics. This position is responsible for the day-to-day commercial management and optimization of assigned aromatic commodities, either the Benzene/Cumene Trade Desk or the Xylene/Toluene Trade Desk. The role combines market analytics, customer engagement, and trading execution to maximize the value of MPC-produced aromatics.
The Specialist assesses market conditions, identifies profitable placement opportunities, negotiates commercial agreements, and proactively develops new organic growth opportunities to enhance margin and expand market optionality. Working collaboratively across Commercial and Operating organizations, this position leverages strong market insight and disciplined execution to maximize value chain performance.
