Bell Component Overhaul Mechanic – Experienced – Full Time, Fillmore, CA

Rotorcraft Support, Inc. (RSI), founded in 1986, operates one of the most comprehensive helicopter maintenance facilities in the United States. We are an FAA and EASA Certified Part 145 Repair Station, a Factory Authorized Service Center, and an OEM Parts Distributor for leading helicopter manufacturers. With nearly 40 years of experience, we provide global support in maintenance, repair, overhaul, modifications, avionics, component exchange, and OEM factory parts for private, corporate, utility, law enforcement, firefighting, and government operators.

We are seeking an experienced Bell Component Overhaul Mechanic to join our team in Fillmore, CA. This role is responsible for the teardown, inspection, repair, testing, and reassembly of Bell helicopter components in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and RSI’s Safety Management System (SMS) standards.

• Salary Range: $66,560 – $105,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
• This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt under applicable wage and hour laws.

• Perform teardown, cleaning, inspection, repair, modification, testing, and reassembly of Bell helicopter components.
• Maintain traceability of parts and consumables in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM instructions.
• Research and apply FAA Airworthiness Directives, Manufacturer Service Bulletins, and other technical data.
• Ensure all work meets or exceeds aircraft workmanship standards.
• Properly use and maintain shop equipment, tools, and technical publications.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, OEMs, and team members to resolve technical issues and manage workload priorities.
• Accurately document work performed in compliance with FAA, OEM, and RSI requirements.

• Prior experience performing Bell component overhauls on 206, 407, 205, 212, and 412 models (required).
• Bell Factory Component Overhaul training is a plus.
• Ability to provide and maintain a complete set of personal tools appropriate for the role.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Employment is contingent upon participation in the FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing program.

This position is based at RSI’s private 10-acre heliport in Fillmore, CA. Fillmore offers small-town charm at the base of the Topatopa Mountains, surrounded by orchards and open space, with convenient access to coastal Ventura and the Santa Clarita Valley.
