Milgard Windows & Doors (part of MITER Brands) is seeking a Quality Technician I to support our day‑shift team in Fife, WA. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help ensure our products meet the high standards our customers expect — and where your work will directly impact production, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• 🔍 Inspecting in‑process and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
• 📝 Documenting quality checks and maintaining accurate inspection records
• 🛠️ Investigating defects to identify root causes and recommend improvements
• 🤝 Working closely with production teams and managers to resolve quality issues
• 📊 Supporting corporate and local quality initiatives
• ⚙️ Suggesting improvements to processes, equipment, or tooling to reduce defects and waste
• 🔄 Helping implement changes and improvements across departments

We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, motivated, and comfortable in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment:

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Experience with quality systems or manufacturing standards
• Proficiency with Solid Works, CAD, and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with multiple departments
