Overview
Advanced Practice Physiotherapist Digital Health role – an advanced clinical post focused on leadership and delivery of digital health engagement for the Physiotherapy Service, while carrying a clinical caseload at Advance Practice level.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement digital solutions in collaboration with the Physiotherapy Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
- Lead and deliver digital health engagement initiatives across the Physiotherapy Service.
- Provide clinical care and manage musculoskeletal physiotherapy cases at an advanced level.
- Support students and junior staff in their professional development.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects and evidence-based practice.
- Maintain a generous and flexible balance between clinical and non‑clinical duties.
- Advanced Practice physiotherapy competence with a specialist focus on musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in implementing digital solutions in physiotherapy and broader healthcare settings.
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to influence and drive change.
- Experience in quality improvement methodologies.
- Ability to support and mentor junior staff and students.
- Demonstrated professional leadership within a physiotherapy context.
- Legal entitlement to work in the United Kingdom (or appropriate visa status).
As of 1 April 2026 the Agenda for Change full‑time week will be 36 hours (from 37), with a corresponding increase in hourly rate. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, with no change to pay.
