Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position with a current MO or compact license and ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Critical Care Float Pool within a hospital setting

• Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00

• Float to different critical care units as needed

• 13-week contract assignment

• Float as needed to various critical care units based on hospital needs

• Up to 5 days of requested time off may be permitted but must be made up during the assignment

• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted but subject to local pay rules

• Local staff are restricted to three consecutive 13-week local contracts and must take a 1-year break or transfer to another facility thereafter

• Blocked scheduling may be permitted depending on facility needs

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration

• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU or critical care experience required

• Must have current, non-expiring certifications; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days unless renewal proof is provided

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
