Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Fernley, NV
Pay Range: $22-23/hr.
Work Hours: 7am – 3:30pm
Type of Employment: Contract to Hire

The Material Handler is responsible for handling hazardous waste safely and compliantly. This includes packaging, transporting, storing, and documenting materials, as well as operating equipment like forklifts.

• Material Handling:
  Segregating, packaging, and transporting hazardous materials.
• Inventory Management:
  Maintaining accurate records and storage compliance.
• Equipment Operation:
  Using forklifts and other mobile equipment.
• Documentation:
  Completing regulatory and customer-required paperwork.
• General Support:
  Performing additional tasks as assigned.

• Previous experience working in manufacturing/warehouse industry.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.
• Visual and auditory acuity for safety and operational tasks.
• Ability to pass a standard background and drug screen.
• Willingness to wear PPE (e.g., respirator, Tyvek suit).

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong attendance and communication skills.
