Electrical Controls Technician
Onsite nley, NV (near Reno, NV). Pay Target $40 - $45/hr.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Field Electrical Controls Technician to support the installation, programming, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial control systems at a new lithium manufacturing facility in Fernley, Nevada. This role requires a hands‑on technician with strong experience in PLC programming, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems, particularly within piping and process industries. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure control systems are properly installed, configured, and commissioned to support safe and efficient plant operations.
RequiredExperience
- 5+ years controls technician, electrical technician, or automation technician
- Hands on experience with PLC Programming and commissioning
- Experience working in process industries with extensive piping systems
- Troubleshooting experience in electrical systems and industrial automation
- Electrical Schematics, P&'s, Control panel drawings, loop diagrams
- Motor control systems, VFD's, and industrial instrumentation
- Works well with others on the team.
- Collaborative and Communicative
- Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
- Familiarity with SCADA or HMI systems
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.
