Plant Accountant; Manufacturing - Fernley, NV

We are seeking a skilled Plant Accountant who will be a part of the heart of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and excellence in every detail.

• Balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.
• Daily sales and production reports.
• Month end close
  - Assist in financial statement prep, stat and expense reporting, variance analysis.
• Procure to Pay
• Assist purchasing, ops, warehouse and AP.
• Inventory management (spare parts $12-13 MM, WIP, FG’s, purchased cement). May need to go to top of silos.
• 80+ Rail car fleet management – movements and payments.
• Fixed Asset Management and Depreciation.
• Sales, property, gross proceeds of mines, commerce tax prep and tracking.
• Prepare and post JE’s for all above.
• Key backup to AP, AR, Payroll.
• Assist as needed in developing and implementing processes for new Stockton acquisition.
• File monthly, quarterly, annual census reports to various govt. agencies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 3 years of experience in accounting with emphasis in general ledger reconciliation, filing taxes, budget preparation and bank reconciliation's in a manufacturing environment.
• Be a team player, detail oriented, enthusiastic, dedicated, impactful, and self-starter.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills are important for this role.
