• Have strong organizational skills
• Be self motivated
• Have exceptional telephone manners
• Have a positive attitude and demeanor
• Be willing to sell packages and vacations
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Be comfortable working under pressure and through periods of high customer demand
• Prior experience is preferred, but not essential. Familiarity with Room Master or similar software is highly beneficial.

• Maintaining an inventory of hotel vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
• Registering arriving guests and assigning rooms
• Answering enquiries (by telephone, e-mail, and in person)
• Provide extensive information about hotel services and facilities, as well as insight and information about the community
• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest complaints
• Compile and check daily records
• Maintain guest portfolios and accounts
• Manage receipts and vouchers using both computerized and manual systems
• Provide invoices and statements
• Cash handling
• Handle the departure of guests
