CAD Technician Ferndown

Full-Time Permanent £27,000 £ 30,000 per annum

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our well-established and highly successful manufacturing client based in Ferndown. As specialists within the construction industry, they are now looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing contracts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical drawing experience and proficiency in AutoCAD to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Salary & Benefits

• £27,000 £ 30,000 per annum
• Annual performance-related bonus
• Monthly pay intervals
• Monday Friday, 37.5 hours per week (between 8:00am 6:00pm)
• Company pension scheme

Key Duties & Responsibilities as a CAD Technician:

• Managing projects from initial design stage through to manufacture
• Producing detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Preparing technical and sample submittals
• Liaising effectively with Contractors, Architects and End Users
• Managing documentation through intranet-based document control systems
• Preparing all associated documentation to ensure compliance
• Liaising with manufacturing partners

Minimum Skills & Experience Required as a CAD Technician:

• Experience with in the construction industry is desirable
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused approach
• Commercially aware with the ability to work to strict deadlines
• Able to contribute to continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills
• Full product and system training provided
• No known health risks associated with this role
