We are currently seeking a reliable and student-focused Bus Driver to join our team and help ensure our students travel safely and comfortably to and from school.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, values punctuality and professionalism, and wants to be part of a friendly and supportive school community.

The successful applicant will be responsible for transporting students on scheduled school routes and supporting school activities when required.

Work pattern (split shift): There may also be opportunities for additional casual driving for excursions, camps and school events.

• Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
• Operate school buses in a calm, professional and responsible manner
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of students at each stop
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming bus environment
• Build positive and respectful relationships with students
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures and school policies
• Work cooperatively with school staff to support transport needs

To reflect our mixed fleet of vehicles:

• Large buses: LR or higher licence
• Small buses: C Class licence is sufficient

Training and familiarisation with school routes and procedures will be provided.

We are seeking someone who demonstrates:

• A strong commitment to student safety and wellbeing
• A friendly, calm and respectful approach when working with children
• Reliability, punctuality and professionalism
• The ability to work independently and follow set schedules
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Valid Australian driver’s licence (C / LR / HR as applicable)
• PTD (Passenger Transport Driver) authorisation - can be obtained upon hire
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) - can be obtained upon hire
• The right to work in Australia
• A good driving record and commitment to safe driving
