General Kitchen Assistant – Ferndale Comprehensive
Position is with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council,
General Kitchen Assistant Grade 2 – 17.5 hours per week, term time only.
Pay: £12.85 per hour.

AboutThe Role
We are looking for a self‑motivated and enthusiastic individual to support Ferndale Comprehensive. Duties will include food preparation, food serving, washing up, and cleaning in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. The service operates term time only, Monday to Friday, with working hours ranging between 9 a.m. & 2.00 p.m.
About You- Must be dedicated and reliable.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow instructions.
All successful applicants must have a food safety Certificate – Level 2 or a willingness to work towards gaining the qualification.
