Position SummaryThe Beer & Wine Team Member executes directives related to stocking, rotating, merchandising and packing inventory given by the Department Manager and Buyers. The Beer & Wine Team Member provides consistent, professional presentation of products and goods, while servicing customer needs. The position requires an aptitude and eagerness to learn about wine and beer both at work and at one’s own time and expense.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Stock incoming beer & wine products.
- Receive incoming beer & wine orders.
- Perform live samples.
- Pull back-stock and maintain shelving/product set.
- Merchandise/stock displays and endcaps.
- Conduct periodic price-checks.
- Regularly clean shelves and products.
- Communicate to Supervisor regarding product supply levels and needs.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering product questions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer department phone and take messages.
- Assist customers with taking purchases to their cars as requested.
- Provide supportive assistance to other Departments as requested.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.

- Working conditions include a fast-paced retail environment that involves long intervals of standing, crouching and reaching while moving product. Little outdoor work is required.
