Overview

Seeking Passionate Leaders to Join Our Board of Directors. Are you committed to empowering youth and making a difference in the Ferguson community? The Ferguson Youth Initiative (FYI) is seeking dedicated volunteer Board Members to help guide our mission and support programs that engage and uplift local youth.

• Support and champion FYI’s mission statement
• Actively engage and recruit youth to participate in FYI programs
• Work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team with shared goals
• Share your unique skills and expertise to strengthen our impact
• Commit time to attend FYI and FYAB board meetings regularly
• Respect and support the majority decisions of the Board
• Volunteer for and assist in youth engagement programs, activities, and fundraising efforts
• Participate actively in Board meetings, actions, fundraisers, and public events
• Maintain consistent attendance, with no more than three consecutive unexcused absences
• Represent the interests of all youth served, not just a specific area or group

This is a rewarding opportunity to impact the lives of young people. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are willing to dedicate time, energy, and passion for positive change. Applications will be accepted until February 7, 2026.
