Production Manager - Fenton, MO

The Production Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of production പൂര് All shifts to be executed in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, the Production Manager will communicate performance expectations to supervisors and hourly Union employees, monitor production demands, problem‑solve production delays, manage personnel, and work with a wide range of leaders.

• Provides leadership to and is responsible for all aspects of the production manufacturing personnel.
• Manages and develops a team with a commitment to safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance utilizing business practices such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.
• Drives
  
  ACLE safety initiatives and improvements across all areas of manufacturing and all shifts.
• Ensures the most effective management of all work centers, processes, and personnel involved with manufacturing.
• Identifies and manages key cost drivers within the manufacturing process and works to continually refine processes to meet business objectives.
• Develop solutions with an analytical approach for meeting production plans in support of company objectives.
• Execute plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees while maximizing process flexibility through cross‑training.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations while issuing disciplinary action when needed.äche
• Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures  to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Eliminates waste and develops cost reductions.
• Effectively collaborates with difficult personalities to overcome obstacles and implement positive change.
• Communicates between Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Product Management, Customer Service, Human Resources, Sourcing, Quality, and Warehouse as needed to resolve problems in production and address larger tactical issues.
• Actively participates in Production Control meetings & communicates within the department to share pertinent information and set goals.
• Maintains a positive relationship with the Union to align business needs and requirements.
• Promotes positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication and collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree from college or university in a related field with preference in engineering preferred
• 5 years of experience as manufacturing manager or production supervisor role
• Strong written and verbal muc communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Teams application skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings in detail
• SAP experience in ERP/MRP systems
• Experience with Power BI software preferred

  Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; focuses on identifying root causes to create solutions in a timely and decisive manner; reconciles conflicting and/or incomplete information to develop solutions; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
• Ability to drive change with effective change‑management skills
