Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant)

Join Target as a Guest Advocate, where you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by delivering a service standard that prioritizes the guest. As a Guest Advocate, you will be the face of Target, welcoming and assisting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $15.75 USD per hour.

As a Guest Advocate, you will be an advocate of guest experience, focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. You will be knowledgeable about Target's services and solutions, and empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests.

• Communicate and interact with guests to build a welcoming experience
• Solve problems and make decisions to positively impact the guest experience
• Adapt to different guest interactions and situations
• Promote and engage around various benefits, offerings, and services

A typical day as a Guest Advocate will include:

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs
• Make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
• Be knowledgeable about Target's tools, products, and services to solve issues for guests
• Thank guests and let them know we appreciate their business
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Understand and show guests how to use Target's features and offerings, including the Target App
