Main duties of the job- As Substance Misuse Clinical Team Leader (Band 7) you will provide clinical support for clients with substance dependence.
- You will also have qualification as an NMP or willingness to undertake Non‑Medical Prescribing training.
- You will ensure management of complex clients, providing advice and guidance on clinical interventions to a team of practitioners, psychosocial workers and agencies concerned with substance misuse.
- As the SMS Lead you will demonstrate leadership and undertake both clinical and managerial responsibilities.
- You will be responsible for ensuring effective and best use of the nursing provision, psychosocial provision and all clinical resources.

Clinical:
- Ensure you and your team provide high standards of nursing care through ongoing clinical assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment for drug and alcohol users.
