We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing client for a Transport Planner based in Felixstowe, working closely with operations at London Gateway.

Key Responsibilities

Plan transport operations from Felixstowe and London Gateway using allocated traffic sheets

Manage assigned vehicles to meet revenue targets and service levels

Build strong relationships with drivers and maintain clear communication

Resolve same-day operational issues efficiently

Book and manage VBS slots accurately

✅ What We’re Looking For

Proven ability to plan traffic under pressure

Knowledge of Truckcom (preferred)

Understanding of port operations and VBS systems

Experience with in haulage/container logistics

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Confident multitasker who thrives on deadlines

Good IT skills
