Are you an experienced Import Clerk with a solid understanding of CHED documents and customs clearance processes? Integral Staff is recruiting on behalf of a respected freight forwarding business in Felixstowe, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy, professional, and growing team.

The Role:

As an Import Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the smooth import of goods, ensuring all documentation is correct and customs clearance is handled efficiently. You’ll be working closely with clients, shipping lines, and internal departments to ensure goods are delivered on time and in compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handling all aspects of import documentation, including CHED documents.

* Managing customs clearance processes in line with current regulations.

* Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries.

* Ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.

* Maintaining up-to-date records in line with company and legal requirements.

* Providing excellent customer service and clear communication to clients regarding shipment progress.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in freight forwarding or import operations.

* Strong knowledge of CHED documents and customs clearance procedures.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills for dealing with customers and partners.

* Proficiency in relevant IT systems and freight software.
