, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating ocean import operations within a dynamic freight forwarding environment.

• Manage and oversee ocean import shipments from booking to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
• Coordinate with carriers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth import operations.
• Prepare and review import documentation including customs declarations, shipping instructions, and bill of lading.
• Track shipments, provide updates to clients, and resolve any operational issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant customs and import/export regulations.
• Assist in planning and executing import projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and deadlines.

• Proven experience as an Ocean Import Operator or in a similar import forwarding role.
• Strong understanding of import procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments efficiently.
• Knowledge of the Felixstowe port operations and local logistics is advantageous.
