RoleHGV Technician Supervisor –
Hours:
40 hours, 15:30 to midnight with a 30 minute break; alternate Saturdays paid at time and a half.
Pay
:
Up to £27.00 per hour for a 40 hour basic week (about £56,160). With alternate Saturdays (£4,200) you can earn approximately £60,360.
- Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload
- Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's, etc.
- Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
- Participation in call-out and breakdown rota - if/when required
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately
- C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
- Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
- Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
