Role

HGV Technician Supervisor

Hours:

40 hours, 15:30 to midnight with a 30 minute break; alternate Saturdays paid at time and a half.

Pay
:
Up to £27.00 per hour for a 40 hour basic week (about £56,160). With alternate Saturdays (£4,200) you can earn approximately £60,360.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload
  • Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's, etc.
  • Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
  • Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
  • Participation in call-out and breakdown rota - if/when required
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
  • Complete job cards clearly and accurately
Qualifications
  • C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
  • Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
  • Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
