Job SummaryThe Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of multi‑family residential apartments.
ClassificationFull‑Time, Hourly/Non‑Exempt
ShiftMonday – Friday 8 am–5 pm
Compensation$18‑$22 /hour
Essential Duties- Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
- Assist in the preparation of market‑ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments.
- Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist in the cleaning of available units and models.
- Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems.
- Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
- Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ability and desire to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience with One Site or other property management software
