In this role, you will be responsible for delivering cross‑functional reporting using data analytics platforms, creating strategic value for Globe’s business units via next‑generation data technologies.

Globe Life is looking for a Director, Data and Analytics to lead data self‑service capabilities, drive AI initiatives, and partner with IT & data teams to deliver new business value.

• Create a data‑centric organizational environment empowering citizen data users and visualization creators.
• Work closely with Data Engineering to provide business requirements, data analysis, and analytics direction.
• Build strong partnerships with business product line leaders to identify AI implementation opportunities.
• Develop project plans, resource allocations, and budgets for analytics initiatives.
• Lead end‑to‑end AI and data analytics projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure project success and ROI.
• Package and present recommendations to the executive leadership team through qualitative and quantitative feedback.
• Provide regular, automated reporting assets that enable effective storytelling and drive self‑service decision‑making.
• Champion an inclusive and diverse analytics mindset to attract and develop a varied talent pool.
• Define the strategy for analytics capabilities, including business architecture, processes, sub‑capabilities, and target state.
• Socialize and build awareness of analytical capabilities across the organization.

• Bachelor of Science in a quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 7 years building and maintaining BI applications and reporting management processes.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Tableau (or similar).
• Experience developing complex statistical modeling for program evaluation.
• Experience building applications on a cloud‑native microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of RPA and process automation.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and data science principles.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Data analytics tools:
  Python, R, SQL, Tableau, AWS Sage Maker.
• Deep understanding of data, business intelligence, and decision analytics.
• Experience with agile tools such as Jira.
• Hands‑on and player‑coach ability.
• Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication across levels.
• Financial services acumen or experience leading large cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ability to assess task and project difficulty.
• Remote team collaboration skills.
• Delivery of high‑quality strategic large‑scale projects.
