Position Description

Ryder is hiring a NON‑CDL Truck Driver in Fayetteville, NC—offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $920 – $1,094 or more
• Hourly: $26.30 + $4.98/hr stipend
• Hours per week: 35+ hours
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Saturday, 12:50 AM start time
• Paid training included

Route & Delivery

• Local Home Daily, 150‑mile radius of Fayetteville, NC
• Trailer type:
  Dry Van 26'

  Touch – US Mail

Trucks are 36 months new or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and company fuel at 800+ maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (3 years of prior employers)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Background screening per USPS requirements (secondary screen, selective service registration for males born after 12‑31‑1959)

• Safely drive a vehicle within the required route and comply with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records and assist in loading/unloading freight as required
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Other tasks as assigned
