Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location:

Travel up to 90 miles from home on average. Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Work Monday–Friday. Weekends not required.

2020 Companies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. The role involves installing and updating sales floor fixtures, performing build-outs and resets, repairing displays, and following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives. Candidates will work independently, meet deadlines, and use mobile applications and technology to complete assignments efficiently.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for managing store‑level relationships and ensuring top‑quality execution on every project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to field services management (within 24 hours of contact).
  • Maintain accurate availability and complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete required forms and surveys before leaving the job site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures function properly.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and multi‑person teams, providing feedback and solutions.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist team members as needed and adhere to timelines for accurate timecard submission.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment and complete training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity through designated systems and workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments when needed.

Qualifications
  • Age / Eligibility: Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Availability: Flexible Monday‑Friday, weekend, holiday, early‑morning, and late‑night availability as needed; maintain 20 hours of fieldwork in any 30‑day period.
  • Physical Abilities: Climb a ladder up to 10 feet; lift and carry up to 60 lbs; kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, and reach overhead.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to varied tasks and work environments.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Effective phone, text, and email coordination; use smartphone for clock‑in/out, photo upload, and app usage; respond within 24 hours of contact.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; retail/merchandising experience beneficial.
  • Experience Preferred: Installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to follow planograms.
  • Technology: Own Android or Apple mobile device; navigate communication platforms and applications independently.
  • Training: Complete all training assignments within designated time frames; work collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Transportation and Travel: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance; willingness to travel up to 90 miles per assignment.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, professional communication, decision‑making, judgment, and problem‑solving; work autonomously with excellent time‑management and reporting skills.
