Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and notifications per site protocol;
Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, corridors, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access;
Monitor access points, observe for unusual conditions, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed;
Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and activity logs, and communicate clearly during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations
