Job Description American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Med/Surg Tele assignment requiring a compact or NC RN license, 2 years of MS/Tele experience, and Epic EMR proficiency. Responsibilities Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital Patient ratios are 1:5-6 on the unit Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) Weekend shifts required every other weekend Floating within scope to like units and possible float between hospital campuses Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital Epic EMR is used and experience is required First-time travelers are accepted for this position Royal blue and white scrubs are required Return travelers must have been gone for at least one year before reapplying Travelers on night shift may extend twice before a six-month break is required Modules must be completed prior to start and may take 4-10 hours Maximum of 4 days of time off allowed, with approval for only one holiday off Candidates may be required to float to different units or sister campuses depending on staffing needs Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Epic EMR experience required Ability to pass an advanced EKG exam as part of pre-employment compliance Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility No candidates with license or background hits in the past year SSN and date of birth required for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job  P-664834.
