Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a long-term acute care setting, requiring Epic experience and a current compact or NC RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long-term acute care hospital on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit

• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00

• Required to work every other weekend

• Floating between like units and sister campuses may be required

• Uses Epic EMR system and Epic experience is required

• Royal blue and white scrubs required

• RTO limited to a maximum of 4 days unless otherwise specified

• Only one holiday can be approved during the contract

• Pre-start modules must be completed and may require 4-10 hours

• Travelers can only extend once before a 6-month break is required

• Returning travelers must be gone for at least one year before returning

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of submission

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience

• Epic EMR experience required

• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Not open to first-time travelers

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the main campus to be eligible
