Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care Med/Surg Tele position, requiring EPIC experience and a compact or NC RN license.

• Work in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes medically complex, long term care patients requiring med/surg and telemetry services
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 to 19:00
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating may be required within scope to like units or sister campuses
• Uses Epic electronic medical record system
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Royal blue and white scrubs are required
• Online modules must be completed pre-start and may take 4-10 hours
• Return staff must have a one-year break before returning as a traveler
• Maximum 4 days' requested time off unless otherwise approved, with only one holiday off permitted during the assignment
• Assignments limited to two contracts before a six-month break is required

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Local candidates not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
