Inpatient Trauma Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner-Fayetteville, NC

Overview

An 8-hospital regional health system in Fayetteville, North Carolina, serving more than one million patients annually, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic Trauma Service
. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a high-volume, patient-centered team committed to delivering outstanding orthopedic trauma care to our community.

• Monday-Friday, daytime schedule
• Four (4) call nights per month
• Inpatient-only position

• Perform inpatient orthopedic trauma evaluations and consultations
• Manage daily patient care, documentation, and follow-up
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic trauma surgeons to optimize patient outcomes
• Coordinate care with nursing, case management, and interdisciplinary teams
• Serve in a leadership-oriented role within the service line, with meaningful autonomy and clinical decision-making support

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
• Prior experience in Orthopedics, Trauma, Acute Care, or a related specialty preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting
