Summary:
This position is responsible for providing service to the facility to ensure an efficient and effective operation and assist in keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
- Troubleshooting and repairing machine breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance and adjusting equipment; performing maintenance on production line equipment, setting up and breaking down production line machinery; perform certain lubrication functions.
- Checking out and accounting for parts used on the job; filling out daily documentation required in SAP; performing any other tasks, which may include welding, fabricating, electrical, plumbing, painting, and cleaning.
- Education:
High School Diploma. - Experience:
1+ year of accumulative industrial maintenance experience. - Computer
Skills:
Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Tyson SAP software to make work orders and PMs preferred. - Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs daily; must be able to troubleshoot equipment; must be able to work in harsh environments for short periods of time (e.g., heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, water, mud, etc.); must be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
