Material Handler

Job Description

• Uses a forklift and other powered or non-powered equipment to pull and ready product for shipment to customers or other company locations.
• Assures accuracy of product types and quantities for the customer's purchase order.
• Pulls and stages finished goods, and follows picking instructions for proper shipment preparation.
• Communicates product shortages and product damages to the Warehouse Supervisor or designated personnel.
• Ensures shipments to customer.
• Meets customer requirements for packaging and labelling.
• Maintains good housekeeping for assigned areas of the warehouse.

• Ability to use mathematical knowledge to make accurate transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively to meet job requirements.
• English language proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing for meeting essential duties of the job and safe and effective performance.
• Forklift certification required.
• Understand warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work using Radio Frequency scanners.
• Proven ability to work independently and accurately.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent
