Network Systems Engineer Security Clearance

Position: Network Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
This program provides network analysis and systems engineering of a global DoD network supported by Army INSCOM. We provide Network Engineering, Cloud Migration, and 24x7 network administration and support services.  Provide Tier II customer service support to a DoD customer. Responsible for providing software support to CISCO routers and switches, Dell PCs, Sun Servers, Juniper routers, In-Line Encryption (INE) devices, network security appliances and other related network hardware.
Work Environment

• Work will be performed inside a large facility. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting).

• Work assignments vary based on client requirements.

• Work may include travel with the military to participate in exercises in austere conditions

• Outside work may include various environmental conditions including hot, dusty, cold, icy and windy climates.
Attendance

• This job involves shift work. Those shifts will vary over time. Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is mandatory.

• You may be asked to continue performing in support of a war, contingency, or exercise.

• You may be asked to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work

• Position may require night and weekend work and could include travel with the military to participate in operations/exercises located in areas with field conditions
Travel

• Continental and Oversees travel may be required. It is important to maintain a current passport.
Other Essential Functions

• Maintain required certifications through the duration of the contract.

Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels.

• Interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. 5 years of experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting ne use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone. May require operating motor vehicles.
Certification Requirements:
IAT-2: GSEC, or Security + CE, or SSCP, or CCNA

CCNA, or CCENT Salary Range: 70, depending on level of experience
