Overview
The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for an IT ERP Systems Administrator. Under general direction, the primary purpose of this position is to support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, perform complex business analysis, user and security administration, technical consultation, and preparation of systems integrations and updates.
Hiring Range: $71,409 - $91,047/Year D.O.Q.

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience:
Two years of increasingly responsible experience in analyzing, implementing and supporting ERP systems. Experience in Financials, Procurement and Human Capital Management is preferred.
Education:
Equivalent to a Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business Administration, Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, Management Information Systems, or closely related field.
LICENSING &
CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
None.
Preferred:
Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA);
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA).
SBI/Fingerprinting Criminal History Record Check Requirement
:
To comply with Sessions Law 2025-16, applicants offered a position with the City may be subject to a criminal history record check of State and National Repositories of Criminal Histories conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in accordance with G.S. 143B-1209.26. The City may consider the results of these criminal history record checks in its hiring decisions.
Please Note: Candidates selected for a position within the Information Technology Department will be required to successfully complete a Police Department and fingerprint based background check.
From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last approximately 4 - 6 weeks. The process will include a written exercise, role play exercise and a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check and driving history check.
