Location: Fayetteville, NC
Salary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $30.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking multiple Field Technicians for in-home, customer-facing smart home device installation work. I have several needs available- please contact directly for a prompt response.
Core Details:
- All details are below. This role will be remote + travel to customer homes. While we are very flexible on technical support background (training will be provided), experience working with customers in-home or at least in-person experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for candidates within 1-2 hours of the territory listed below
- For travel- you will use your own vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed
- Balanced mix of technical troubleshooting and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Comfortable working in homes and interacting with people.
- Works well in a team, collaborates effectively, and demonstrates autonomy.
- Programming, deployment, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Networking knowledge: basic understanding of TCP/IP (not a deep understanding but general concepts).
- Ability to connect monitors and configure software via command line.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation processes.
- Comfortable acknowledging knowledge gaps.
- Travel territory
- Robeson, Hoke, Scotland, Bladen, Columbus counties - Travel:
No more than 2-2.5 hours to each appt.
