Bronco Techs are vital members of the Technology Support Center within the Department of Information Technology Services
. In this role, you'll provide daily front‑line support to students, faculty, and staff across campus.
No previous IT experience is required – we provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training. All majors are welcome and encouraged to apply!
What to Expect as a Bronco Tech:
- Service Desk Technician Support walk‑in clients by helping them connect to campus systems, install software, and troubleshoot common technical issues.
- Endpoint Technician Provide on‑site support to faculty and staff, assisting with computer setups, software installations, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Lab Technician Maintain campus printers, support users in the student computer labs, and deliver friendly, dependable customer service.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements- Fayetteville State University Undergraduate Student enrolled full‑time or
- Fayetteville State University Graduate Student enrolled in at least 9 credit hours
- Maximum Work Hours – Student workers are limited to 29 hours of work per week. If the student is on an F‑1 or J‑1 VISA – the student is limited to work a maximum of 20 hours per week while school is in session.
- Students may work Federal Work Study (FWS) position and student employment simultaneously – student's total work hours for all jobs cannot exceed 29 hours of work per week during the school term.
- Knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems.
- Knowledge of Office 365 software.
