Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Epic proficiency, a NC or compact RN license, and strong telemetry skills.

Job Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a short-term acute care Level III Trauma and teaching hospital,

• Day shift position with four 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 to 19:00,

• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:6,

• Every other weekend shift required,

• Floats may be required within scope to like units or sister campus,

• Epic EMR experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required at time of application,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience,

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,

• Applicants living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible,

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Team-based work environment with teaching hospital support,

• Scrub colors are royal blue and white,

• One holiday request can be approved during the contract,

• RTO limited to a maximum of four days unless otherwise approved,

• Returning travelers must have been away from the facility for at least one year,

• Travelers may extend their contract once if on day shift, with a maximum of two contracts before a mandatory six-month break,
