Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 AM – 05:00 PM)
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements
Interventional Radiology Technologist needed for a Special Procedures unit in a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma and teaching hospital. The role supports a high-volume IR department providing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during interventional radiology and special procedures
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for IR cases
Position patients and operate imaging equipment during procedures
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to radiation safety standards
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Document procedures and patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
Participate in on-call rotation, weekend coverage, and floating within scope as needed
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience ( required)
Proven experience in a hospital-based IR or special procedures setting
Ability to work days, weekends, and take call as scheduled
Active licensure and credentials appropriate for Interventional Radiology
