Job Overview

Nursing Home Administrator – Future opening. STGi is seeking qualified candidates; hiring contingent upon award.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility.
  • Current unencumbered nursing home administrator's license or meet licensure requirements of North Carolina.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct facility's programs and activities per state guidelines.
  • Develop and manage annual operational and capital budgets.
  • Ensure each resident receives necessary care and services to attain and maintain highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Participate in facility‑wide assessments to ensure resources are sufficient for day‑to‑day operations and emergencies.
  • Provide North Carolina with information relative to survey findings, correcting plans, monitoring guidelines, state reportable incidents, and follow‑up survey results.
  • Review OSCAR and quality measures data; report discrepancies and monitor corrections.
  • Ensure facility environment free of accidents; supervise residents, identify hazards, implement interventions, and monitor effectiveness.
  • Oversee admission, transfer and discharge of all residents per local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Collaborate with insurance carrier, legal counsel, and other personnel to develop and implement a risk‑management program.
  • Ensure human‑resource policies and programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain an adequate number of appropriately trained, licensed professionals and non‑licensed personnel on duty at all times.
  • Develop and implement employee health and safety programs, including OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor effective infection prevention and control program.
Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements
  • Works in office areas and throughout the facility.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Involved with residents, family members, personnel, and visitors under all circumstances.
  • Works beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays as necessary; on call 24/7.
Qualifications
  • Minimum three (3) years experience as administrator of, or senior managerial position in, a skilled nursing care facility.
  • Bachelor's degree required. A master's in public health administration, business administration, or a health‑related degree is preferred.
  • Licensed in North Carolina as a Nursing Home Administrator.
