SummaryThe CT/Diagnostic Technologist is fully competent to perform all CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis of specific diseases or conditions. ARRT (R) certified. Advanced ARRT (CT) registry required within one year of hire date, or employment will be terminated. AHA CPR Certification provided through Cape Fear Valley Training & Development. Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. New graduates may apply if ARRT registered or registry eligible, with registry eligibility required within twelve months of hire date.
Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, good patient care, and an understanding of growth and development across all age groups. Provides care based on the patient’s developmental needs and interacts effectively with patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Must be able to communicate orally, have dexterity and visual acuity, assume awkward positions, respond to emergency situations, stand and walk for long periods, bend and lift, and may be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious material.
