* Doctoral degree from an accredited university in educational leadership or related field
* Experience with school district level administration
* A substantial and sustained record of distinguished accomplishments as a practitioner
* Evidence and/or promise of effective teaching and advising
* Evidence of sustained and substantial service to the profession
* Evidence of the ability to provide students with a deep understanding of the practical application of a particular field of study
* Evidence of integration of academic scholarship with practical experience
* Evidence of national and/or significant regional recognition by peers as demonstrated through professional stature, outreach, professional service, and/or scholarship and its practical application
* Experience teaching educational leadership
* Experience teaching and mentoring graduate students in an online environment in educational leadership
* Experience mentoring doctoral students in educational leadership
