Position Requirements

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical interventions as needed

• MD/D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology

Fayetteville, NC: Located along the Cape Fear River, Fayetteville offers outdoor recreation, arts, history, shopping, dining, and entertainment. The area is near Fort Bragg and the U.S. Army’s Special Operations Command and 82nd Airborne Division, about 100 miles from Wrightsville Beach.

• Salary: $475K
• Pediatric Stipend: $50K
