Physician/Medical Director - Part‑Time

Detailed Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide primary‑care services in accordance with Eventus Whole Health site‑specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine as it pertains to long‑term‑care‑facility work.
  • Review and sign MARs as requested by facilities; sign all orders specific for a supervising physician within 24 hours, including phone orders, faxed or emailed orders, and laboratory results.>
  • Manage all scheduled medication prescriptions specific to your facility’s patients and specialty in accordance with the Scheduled Medication Rx Policy.
  • Provide adequate time each visit for paperwork and administrative duties.
  • Attend care‑plan meetings and quality‑assurance/ performance‑improvement meetings as requested by facility or supervisor.
  • Be available for on‑call duties between 8 AM and 5 PM by text or phone on scheduled workdays; adhere to the latest triage schedule.
  • Submit copies of documentation and billing records to Eventus Whole Health according to the billing schedules.
  • Maintain open and positive communication with facility staff and administration; provide feedback on medications and other caregiver information.
  • Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and professional standards, including HIPAA, CPT coding, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications / Education
  • Licensed MD or DO
  • 3 years of long‑term‑care/geriatric care preferred
  • AMDA certification a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong leadership, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
