The Wilner Group has partnered with a growing commercial construction organization seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on the job site, coordinating subcontractors, and partnering closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in maintaining organized, productive job sites.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily field operations on commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain project schedules in partnership with the Project Manager to ensure milestones are met.
  • Ensure job site safety compliance and maintain a culture focused on zero safety incidents.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure work is performed accurately and according to plan.
  • Lead on-site meetings, communicate progress updates, and address field challenges proactively.
  • Manage site logistics, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of commercial construction field experience, with significant time in a Site Superintendent or field leadership role.
  • Experience managing commercial projects ranging from approximately $500K – $10M.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents across multiple trades.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to job site safety and quality execution.
