Bloom is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven team member to support the growth of our Bloom Closet Express and Bloom Direct programs—two initiatives that deliver essential clothing and supplies directly to children and foster families across Georgia and beyond. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth trip logistics, efficient order fulfillment, accurate data tracking, and meaningful communication with our partners.

Nonprofit Clothing & Merchandising Assistant - The Bloom Closet
Requirements- Must be reliable and energetic with a strong work ethic.
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Retail clothing store experience a plus.
- Advanced computer skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills and enthusiasm for neatness.
- Must be able to pass a variety of background checks, including but not limited to a criminal background check and child abuse registry check.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and work on feet throughout the day.
- Able to drive Bloom box truck and transit
- Must be extremely passionate about helping foster children.
This role supports the successful execution and growth of the Bloom Closet Express and Bloom Direct programs. Key responsibilities include assisting with trip planning, order fulfillment, data entry, and administrative tasks. The position also involves stakeholder communication to gather feedback, contributing to marketing and outreach efforts, and supporting various program initiatives as directed by the Express and Direct Manager. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist with planning and execution of Bloom Closet Express trips
- Assist with picking and packing for Bloom Direct boxes
- Assist with data entry and reporting for Express and Direct programs
- Assist with general administration of Express and Direct programs
- Contact stakeholders to get feedback on Express and Direct programs
- Assist with marketing and growth efforts for Express and Direct programs
- Additional duties as assigned by Express and Direct Manager
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility of schedule. Some weekends and evenings are required.
